Interview with a primary teacher, an opinion on…’Keep children far away from talking bears’

As part of the research process for our story we interviewed a primary teacher and her thoughts on the article, which highlighted how “Traditional stories hinder children’s learning and damage youngsters’ ability to tell the difference between fact and fiction in other areas of life”.

The primary teacher we interviewed said that she “believed that children should be exposed to both fact and fiction to ensure that there  is a good balance.” She also believes “fiction sparks children’s imagination and also creates a better education”.
